Discover Chemnitz as Capital of Culture

As the 2025 European Capital of Culture, Chemnitz shows its full cultural range. This day combines the great museums on Theaterplatz with the Art Nouveau total work of art Villa Esche and the young, creative scene on the Sonnenberg. This makes tangible the link between high culture and new beginnings that the motto 'C the unseen' means.
